VAISHALI REVIEW

Star-casts: Aadhi, Nanda, Sindhu Menon, Saranya Mohan, Sreenath and others..
Banner: S Pictures
Production: Dil Raju
Direction: Arivazhagan
Music: Thaman S
Watched at inox vijayawada
 Review: 5.5/10
Story:

Vasudevan sacrifices his love to pursue his ambition of becoming a police officer. Ramya goes to marry Bala and all is well in their lives, until one day Ramya is murdered. Coincidentally, Vasudevan is the investigatingofficer . First thought to be a suicide, Ramya’s death turns out to be a murder and the prime suspect is the husband, the motive being his wife’s earlier love affair. But when more deaths take place in the apartments, the story takes a mysterious turn… and the cause of death is Natural…

Performance:

Aadhi, the mrugam fame, who had appeared literally like an animal in the movie Mrugam has come as a cop and believe it, this guy was apt for this character. There is a flash back sequence where he is played as a college going guy and he has played with almost perfection.

Sindhu Menon plays a timid wife. She lends credibility to her role with expressive eyes and neat portrayal.

Actor-director Srinath, Saranya Mohan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan have performed well.

Cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa is extraordinary with innovative camera angles. Director‘s imagination and the camera man’s angle will add suspense and surprises to the product. Musical score by Thaman is good while the background score add to the best of psychological aspects.

The movie runs for about close to 160 minutes, which I feel is the negative aspect in the movie. The director had some places to chop the scenes and make it look crisper.

Plus:
Cinematography
Direction
Acting
Graphics
Minus:
Slow Second Half
Climax
Run Time
Editing

  verdict:

Film has right quotients to work out in terms of innovative approach, but rigidly lacks solidity in narrative quotients. Too many storylines spoil a movie, for sure. With a tighter storyline and more thrills, this movie could have easily outgrown its potential. Nevertheless, Vaishali earns a 2.75/5 for trying hard to impress the audiences.

NAG@25YEARS IN TOLLYWOOD

King Nagarjuna completed 25 years as an actor today, he made his debut with the film Vikram on may 23rd 1986 and went ahead to become one of the versatile top slot hero in the Telugu film industry.

Nagarjuna who came from the family of the yesteryear Handsome hero Akkineni Nageshwar Rao was born at Madras and his basic education happened in Hyderabad in Hyderabad Public School and intermediate from Little Flower Junior College and he completed his graduation from Anna university and University of Michigan and got graduated as Mechanical Engineer and then he did his MS from University of Louisiana in the field of Auto Mobiles.

He made his debut in the film Vikram into Telugu Film Industry and got good marks as an actor and struggled hard for a hit after that until the movie Akari Poratam directed by Raghavendra Rao and then got settled as an Star in Telugu Film Industry and then came the super hit 'Geethanjali' directed by Maniratnam and Ram Gopal Varma's 'Shiva' which established Nagarjna as a top hero and brought him star image.

Presidentgari Pellam, Allari Alludu, Gharana Bullodu, Hello Brother movies established him as a mass hero and Anamaya, Sri Ramadasu movies made him a star for Family audience. He is one of the very few hero's who has the same fan following in both the class and as well as mass audience, Every heroine in Telugu film industry dreams of acting in a film with this tollywood dream boy, He also acted in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages and got good name as an actor.

As of now he is busy with the movie Rajana in which he is acting as a freedom fighter and also in Damarukham. Nagarjuna is also getting ready to act as Shirdi Sai Baba in the direction of Raghavendra Rao.

NEW STEP IN TOLLYWOOD

Double 'Nippu' for Raviteja!
Massraja Raviteja, who has recently tasted one of the biggest duds of his career with 'Veera' is all set to do his next film under Gunasekhar's direction. This movie will be produced by YVS Chowdary on his Bommarillu banner.

Apparently, Guna has been out of form post 'Okkadu' and is still struggling to regain his charm. On the other hand YVS too is having torrid times as a director and producer. Interestingly both these struggling people teamed up for Raviteja's film and it has already raised the curiosity levels a notch higher than regular Raviteja movies.

Meanwhile, Raviteja fans and well wishers are not happy with this project though. They say that it is a big risk to do film with two out of form directors as the business craze would be down. Generally such films which create negative buzz from the start do fail to survive even with average talk. Ironically it is titled 'Nippu' and observers say that it hints about the fate of Raviteja's career with this film!

THE MAGIC OF TAMANNA IN BADRINATH

Tamanna, the savior of Badrinath! The magnum opus 'Badrinath' is gearing up for simultaneous release in three languages on June 10th. Along with Telugu it is also being released in Tamil and Malayalam too. Allu Arjun has good fan following in Andhra Pradesh and is a reasonable hero in Kerala. But he is yet to make a mark in Tamilnadu.

As Allu Arjun's previous films were never dubbed in Tamil and therefore he will be making his Tamil debut with 'Badrinath'. However, the makers of 'Badrinath' are not caring about it much as they feel that Tamanna's factor would be a major boost in bagging good opening in Tamil.

Apparently, Tamanna is a very big star in Tamilnadu as she has numerous hits under her belt. She has also starred in 'Siruthai' which is this year’s biggest hit in Tamil till date. Allu Aravind and Bunny expect her craze in Kollywood to make things easy for 'Badrinath' in conquering Tamilnadu.

NO MONEY NO OUTPUT@THAMAN

No Money! No Output!! @ Thaman Quality music and never heard tunes made this young music director much popular in Telugu Film Industry. However, our calculations and equations never remain the same.

Thaman is currently the busiest music director with almost 3 Telugu projects nearing completion, 4 Tamil films in hand. Many producers who have approached Thaman are saying that the fat-man gives quality only when offered good money. People are quoting Raviteja's 'Veera' as the best example for this. In this latest flick of Thaman, music is neither appealing nor titillating. Even the background score goes pale with less energetic compositions. However, critics reacted the other way round. They have been blaming the director for not extracting good music from Thaman, who has given tremendous hits like 'Kick' and 'Brindavanam'. They went on saying that it is not money that is related to output, it is just a director's heart need to sync with Thaman's heart.
