BALAYYA IN MANOJ'S 'OO KODATHARA ULIKKI PADATHARA'

->Manchu Manoj  and Deeksha seth is getting ready to play in his forthcoming flick ‘Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ to be produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna on the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures after Jummandi nadam.

->The latest information about the film is quite shocking for the Telugu film lovers. It is reliably learnt that Nandamuri Balakrishna was approached by the team to play a key role in the movie and he had give his positive nod to play that character.

->It is well known that Balakrishna after becoming a hero, did not play a special character in any other film.

However, it is learnt that Balakrishna was impressed with the storyline and his character which would come in the flashback episode. The flashback scene would be like a backbone for the movie.

->For the first time Balakrishna is making a guest appearance in another film. Let us wait and watch how good the character would be after the film’s release.

DOOKUDU TV RIGHTS FOR MAATV

Mahesh Babu's Dhookudu as one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year would be a cliche. His appeal at box office hasn't diminished at all and the distributors would vouch for that. We hear that the satellite rights of the film have already been sold for a whopping sum even before the film's shooting is completed. Maa TV has bought the rights for a sum of around Rs 5.75. Recently, Maa TV had launched a new channel Maa Movies and they are aggresively trying to add big titles to their movie library.

Directed by Srinu Vaitla, Dhookudu has Mahesh Babu and Samantha in lead roles. The film has already been shot in Turkey, Dubai and recently a song & another scene were shot in Kutch, Gujarat. The next schedule of the film will begin from February 15 in Hyderabad and will end on March   Some talkie part will be shot in this schedule. Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Thaman is composing the music. Gaganam starts off with characters introduction which takes place at a very good pace...Movie moves into the story very quickly and the main point of the movie - THE HIJACK is established very well...Flash back of the movie which happens in jammu and kashmir is presented very well...Nagarjuna excels in his role as a NSG commando...Prakash raaj plays the role of Home secretary with elan...Pace of the movie is very good in the first half and presented very well inspite of being a simple point...the director takes the cake in this aspect...Interval Bang arrives with a superb twist which is best described when seen on the screen...

The second half takes off with very limited options left with the team which tries to free the flight...The operation which is undertaken to free the flight is named OPERATION GAGANAM...There are very good touching and emotional scenes in the second half of the movie...Movie draws towards the climax at a very good place and the climax of the movie is executed very well...anything said about how it is excuted on screen will simply spoil the fun...

Direction : superb to say the least

SUMANTH'S 'RAAJ' ON 25TH FEB

Sumanth’s upcoming film “Raaj” is all set to hit the screens on 25th of this month. Currently the film unit is busy with post-production works. Sumanth plays the role of a fashion photographer in this film. Priyamani and Vimala Raman are playing the female lead roles opposite to Sumanth. ALA MODALAINDI REMAKE RIGHTS SOLD OUT

Nani’s latest romantic comedy film ‘Ala Modalaindi’, which was directed by the debutant Nandini Reddy has become a box office hit. It is now learnt that the Tamil remake rights of this small budget film has been sold out for a fancy price of Rs 50 lakhs to a well known Tamil producer. Malayalam actress Nithya Menon made her debut in Telugu through this flick. Music composed by Kalyani Malik was the major asset to the film.

On other hand Nani is going to make his debut in Tamil through a film titled ‘Veppam’. Interestingly Nithya Menon is also playing the female lead role along with Bindu Madhavi. This film is under brisk progress and is likely to release some time in March.

This film is a bilingual film in Tamil it has titled as ’Nadunisi Naaygal’ and in Telugu it has titled as ’Erra Gulabeelu’. This film is said to be a psychological thriller film. The Censor Board has given an ‘A’ certificate for this film without any cuts and the film makers are planning to release the film on February 18.
